Disney or Bust

Well, we are leaving tomorrow morning for a fun-filled week at Disney. We are both really excited. I will probably set up a slide show at some point in time during our trip and put it on the side bar, so keep checking back. In the meantime, below are the pictures from the Reformation Day Party that we had at church.

Laser Show

Friday night, we went to the Laser Show at Stone Mountain for a Family Fun Night with Christ Church of Metro Atlanta. It was a lot of fun. The Laser Show is a lot different this year for the 25th Anniversary of the Laser Show, you should go see it. And, if you have never been to Stone Mountain, plan to make a day or two of it. There is so much to do!

Here are some pictures from before the show. We ate and talked and the kids played. It was a lot of fun and good fellowship.

Church Membership

Sunday night, Scott and I and joined Christ Church of Metro Atlanta along with about 60 other founding members. We had a nice dinner and several people gave testimonies. It was a really great night. I know that our elders worked hard to plan the event an we appreciate it. Pictures from the night are in a slide show on the left.

I Can See!

Well, this past Thursday, I had lasik eye surgery performed on both of my eyes. I am seeing a little better than 20/20 as of yesterday. My right eye feels like normal again, but my left still feels a little irritated. I am really glad that I had it done, even though it was really scary. Then, last night we went to the laser show at Stone Mountain with several people from church. I have a slide of the pictures over to the left. Before the laser show, our small group came over for dinner. It's nice to have people over. It was my first time out at night since the surgery and I have slight halos around car headlights and taillights, but I could see the laser show fine. I am told that it will all improve with time. So, hopefully the halos will go away soon. I spent the afternoon with my friend Shana today. We got our toes done and went shopping. It's nice to hang out with friends. Our toes both look cute...but we didn't take pictures. It seems like this weekend is going by way too fast. Monday will be here before we know it...
