Scott and I went to see Fireproof the movie yesterday afternoon with several couples from our church. This movie is really awesome. I think that it would even benefit single people. I thought the acting was great. This movie really showed how important it is to keep our covenant with God that we make through marriage. This movie was made by the same people that made Facing the Giants and Flywheel. I have not seen either of them, but now I really want to.

I'd like to go see this movie. Kirk Cameron was on Dr. Phil the other day promoting it. It looks really good. Of course, I might have to go see it by myself. It borders on the chick flick genre. Glad to hear you liked it. How did Scott like it?

Tracy, I really did NOT think it was a chick flick. You should both go see it. It is meant for men and women to see it!

I thought it was a fantastic movie. It was a good "drama"-type movie, not really a chick-flick. I agree with Marcy that it would be beneficial to any single person that ever considers getting married (and possibly those who don't). If you are married it is best viewed as a couple and discussed afterwards.
I have heard nothing but good things about it....of course my husband the movie skeptic is "skeptical" since it IS so popular, you know..if its that popular it might NOT be good...whatever. Anyway, I want to see it and I want to read the book that goes along...love dare or something like that. It sounds good!
The movie was SO good....yep....I cried almost the whole movie.
The point of this movie, however, is NOT how well it was put together, the acting, etc. BUT, the message is the point! ;-)
It would definately be beneficial for all to see.
